Students, teachers, and parents may borrow books for two weeks, with a maximum of two renewals if needed. Kindergarten and first grade may borrow up to two books at a time; second through eighth grade may borrow up to three books at a time. Preschool students can't check out books, but their parents may do so. Teachers and parents may borrow as many books as they need. Parents can come to the Library and sign up to become a borrower. Parents, please set one area in your house where you will keep school library books, so that your children will know where to find them.
The library does not charge overdue fines; however, student-borrowed books that are returned more than one week late may affect the student's grade.
Keep all school library books safe and clean - students who return books with crayon, ink, paint, food stains, or torn pages may have to pay a replacement fee (cost of the book). Please keep the books away from pets and toddler siblings! Some minor damage, such as torn or loose pages, can be repaired, please let Mrs. Kan know about such problems so she can mend the books.
Students who lose a library book will have to pay a replacement fee (cost of the book).
